Contact Financial Aid
The financial aid office is here to help. There are 3 ways to contact the financial aid office. Anytime you contact our office via email, phone, or virtual appointment, please have the student’s CWID (Campus Wide ID) ready so we may assist you. If the student is not the one contacting us, we will be able to answer most general questions but will be limited in what we can say about the student’s specific account. If the student contacts us through email, the student should use their Mines email address as we will only respond to a @mines.edu address. To give detailed information, we recommend that parents sign up for proxy.

Phone
To reach the front desk please call the office at (303) 273-3301. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain Time.
If you call outside of business hours please leave the financial aid office a detailed message and include the student’s CWID. We will return the call as soon as possible.
The best way to reach out to the financial office is to email finaid@mines.edu
Please include the student’s CWID in the email.
Request A Virtual Appointment
If you would like to meet face-to-face with a counselor via Zoom, you can request a virtual appointment. Please allow 1 business day for our office to confirm appointment availability.
Scholarship Checks
Scholarship checks can be mailed or dropped off to the financial aid office. Please include the student’s CWID on all checks and paperwork.
