Campus Employment at CSM
Students at CSM who elect to work on campus typically work 10 hours or less per week. Because employers are aware that the course of study is rigorous, and school is the number one priority, work hours are typically flexible.
CSM departments list on-campus jobs on Diggernet. Not all jobs require that you have a Colorado or Federal work-study award. There are jobs on campus that don't require a work study award.
Note: Federal and Colorado work study require students to file a FAFSA.
The Colorado General Assembly is the source of state-funded student financial assistance including the Colorado Work Study program. You must be a resident of Colorado in order to be eligible for Colorado work study funds.
Getting Paid
Students are paid on the 15th and the last working day of each month. After the first pay period, a student's earnings are direct-deposited to the student's checking or savings account. Timesheets must be turned in to the Payroll Office no later than the day following a paydate to be processed in time for the next paydate.
