Is it too late to accept my loans?

How can I authorize my Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF)?

If you have already applied for COF,  you will be able to authorize the use of COF funds during the first week of August 2007.  You will receive an email notification with specific Trailhead instructions toward the end of July.

How much will I owe after the COF is applied?

The COF is already factored into the resident tuition.  Resident tuition (without fees) is $8,060.  If a student does not authorize the COF s/he will pay an additional $2,400. You will be able to authorize the use of COF during the first week of August.

My cost of attendance includes an amount for room and board, but I won't be living on campus?

We are required by federal regulation to show all components of the educational budget, including room and board.  The amount listed is an average rate whether a student lives on-campus or resides off-campus.  You will not be charged for room and board unless you live in CSM housing.

I do not have enough money to pay for school. Where can I find out about other resources?

Your financial aid counselor is your best resource to determine what funds are available for you.  Before you consider additional loan funds, consult with your financial aid counselor to determine if you are eligible for other aid.
